Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PDFGrover (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The service

PDFGrover provides a set of online tools for working with PDF documents — merging, splitting, converting, editing, and securing files. Most tools run entirely in your browser. Tools that require server-side processing handle files in an isolated temporary directory and auto-purge them within the hour.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • process content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, or violates privacy rights
  • attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service
  • upload files containing malware or exploit code
  • automate the Service at a scale that impacts availability for others

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you process. We do not claim ownership of your content, do not inspect it, and do not use it to train models or any other secondary purpose. Server-side processing is transient — see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Service availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that output will always match your expectations. Always review critical output before relying on it.

6. Limits

Server-side tools enforce per-tool file-size and concurrency limits to protect availability. The limits vary by tool and may change as the Service evolves.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

In no event will PDFGrover or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
